Get your music career going and build a buzz from the ground, up!
I have a great demo. Now I need an Myspace, Facebook, EPK, LinkedIn, DMDS Fanbridge, ABCDEFG123 what‘s going on? This panel will discuss all of the basic components you need in order to launch your music career and keep it moving.
Covering every perspective of the process, we will discuss the graduation from building a buzz at street level to getting radio play. You will learn the steps, the etiquette, and what NOT to do when you want media attention.
We’ll talk about how your music should match the station and their target markets, the importance of the commercial quality of your single. And review radio options such as college radio, commercial/private radio, internet radio and satellite radio. We will also talk about how to target major media and indie zines to amp up your “indie cred.”

What is the first step in the process of pursuing these various deals and how to get noticed. What are the pros and cons as an independent musician?
